Who exactly is this Josh Lane bloke?

Josh Lane has had a camera in his hand since he was ten. Now 21, a lot has changed for him, but the camera has been a consistent feature. Through the lens he has made his life's work by telling stories of fact and fiction, injustice and intrigue, and without fail, stories of what it means to be human. From the ruins of the 2015 Nepal earthquake to all of the ways teenagers try to find themselves, Josh has traveled the globe since he was a boy documenting every aspect of the human experience he's been able to get in front of his lens.

Josh's work ranges near and far with photojournalism endeavors aiding the work of NGO's and Non-Profits in some of the most in-need communities in Southeast Asia and India, passion projects based in friendship, ongoing projects about his community at University, and a range of commissions. These include adventure and lifestyle photography and films, covering music festivals, photographing weddings, creative portraiture, commercial drone photography, and much more.

Besides his primary mediums of still and moving images, Josh is an avid writer, a dappling designer, a purveyor of fine films, a self-proclaimed music junkie, and occasionally a half-decent cook.

After living on every continent but for Antarctica and Australia (despite having an Australian citizenship), Josh is currently settled in the American Southwest where he attends The University of New Mexico, currently in his third year of his undergraduate degree.
